Sumoview is an application to browse through your movie and tv show collection. Useful for letting people choose something to watch when you have them over for movie night.
In existing media centers, like Boxee, XBMC and MediaPortal, it's not easy to change things like the movie poster, the description, the way movies are ordered, etc. Since I'm picky, I wrote a program that allows me to customize everything. Also, media centers don't work if your collection is on DVDs rather than your computer.
Sumoview is just an html page that loads a list of movies or tv shows from a JSON file containing titles, genres, ratings and descriptions. Posters are loaded from a separate folder. This way, you have full control over the displayed information.
